Our Services

At Tiny Tracks Occupational Therapy, we offer a range of supportive, practical services designed to meet the needs of individuals and families at different stages of life. Our approach is holistic, client-centred, and focused on meaningful everyday outcomes.

School -Readiness Screenings

School-readiness screenings are short, practical check-ins designed to identify whether a child is developing the skills needed for learning and participation in the classroom.

Screenings can be done at school during classroom visits or at the clinic, and focus on areas such as:

  • Attention and listening skills
  • Fine and gross motor development
  • Sensory processing
  • Emotional regulation and social interaction

These screenings help identify strengths, early concerns, and whether further assessment or support may be helpful. Parents and teachers receive clear feedback and practical recommendations.

Ideal for:

Parents wanting reassurance, early guidance, or clarity before formal schooling.

Comprehensive Paediatric Assessment

A comprehensive paediatric assessment provides an in-depth understanding of a child’s development and daily functioning. Assessments are fully individualised based on the child’s needs and concerns.

We assess areas including:

  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Gross and fine motor skills
  • Visual perception and visual-motor integration
  • Executive functioning (attention, planning, organisation)
  • Functional participation at home and school

Standardised tools and clinical observations are used within a child-friendly environment. Detailed yet easy-to-understand reports are provided, along with personalised home and school recommendations.

Ideal for:

Children with developmental concerns, learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD, or neurological conditions.

Community Talks & Workshops

We offer practical, engaging talks and workshops tailored to the needs of schools, organisations, and community groups.

Topics may include:

  • Understanding behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Sensory processing in everyday life
  • Supporting learners with ADHD or ASD
  • Classroom strategies and parent guidance

Sessions are adapted to the audience and focus on real-world strategies that can be applied immediately.

Ideal for:

Schools, teachers, parent groups, and community organisations seeking practical tools and understanding.

High-Risk Babies & Early Intervention

Early support can make a significant difference in a baby’s development and a parent’s confidence. We support premature and high-risk infants from hospital discharge through early development, offering:

  • In-hospital and out-of-hospital support
  • Developmental screenings
  • Individualised stimulation programmes
  • Guidance for parents on handling, play, and bonding

The first out-of-hospital screening is offered free of charge, allowing families to access support early and without pressure.

Ideal for:

Parents of premature or medically fragile babies seeking reassurance, guidance, and early support.

Pre- & Post-Partum Maternal Support

Supporting a mother is supporting a baby. Pregnancy and early motherhood bring significant emotional, physical, and identity changes. We offer individualised counselling and support for expectant and postnatal mothers, focusing on:

  • Maternal mental health and emotional wellbeing
  • Adjusting to life changes and new roles
  • Managing stress, overwhelm, and expectations
  • Maintaining a sense of self while navigating motherhood

Support is compassionate, confidential, and paced according to each mother’s needs.

Ideal for:

Mothers needing a safe space to process, adjust, and strengthen wellbeing during pregnancy or after birth.

Individual Therapy for Children

Individual therapy sessions are designed to support children’s development in a way that feels safe, engaging, and meaningful. Therapy is guided by assessment findings and may include:

  • Sensory integration-based approaches
  • Play-based and DIR/Floortime principles
  • Support for emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Development of functional skills for home and school

Sessions focus on building confidence, participation, and independence — while involving caregivers to support carryover at home.

Ideal for:

Children who need ongoing support to develop skills, confidence, and regulation in everyday life.

Hospital-Based Occupational Therapy Services

We provide a range of hospital-based OT services with a strong focus on:

  • NICU support and early developmental care
  • Maternal mental health within medical settings
  • Paediatric neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy
  • Wheelchair and assistive device assessments

Support may occur during admission or as part of follow-up care, ensuring continuity between hospital and home.

Ideal for:

Families needing specialised support during or after hospital stays.

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs)

A Functional Capacity Evaluation assesses an individual’s ability to perform everyday tasks required for work, education, or daily living. Assessments are clear, structured, and practical, focusing on:

  • Physical and cognitive functioning
  • Endurance, safety, and task performance
  • Functional limitations and strengths

Reports are written in an easy-to-understand manner and are suitable for workplace, educational, or medico-legal purposes.

Ideal for:

Adults requiring functional assessment for employment, return-to-work, or formal documentation.
