Our Story

Our Mission

At Tiny Tracks Occupational Therapy, our mission is to provide compassionate, individualised support that helps each person achieve meaningful goals in their everyday life. We believe that development, wellbeing, and independence are built through small, intentional steps - taken at the right pace and supported in the right way.

We work alongside individuals, families, and the wider community to create therapy that is practical, respectful, and deeply relevant to daily life. By focusing on each person’s strengths, needs, and environment, we aim to build confidence, competence, and resilience that lasts beyond the therapy space - one tiny step at a time.

Our Values

Client-Centred

Client-Centred

We believe that every person’s journey is unique. Therapy at Tiny Tracks is guided by the individual’s goals, experiences, and priorities - whether that is a child learning through play, a parent seeking support, or an adult navigating functional challenges. Each client is seen, heard, and respected as an active partner in the therapy process.

Holistic

Holistic

We look beyond isolated skills and consider the whole person. Development is influenced by physical abilities, sensory processing, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and daily routines. By understanding how these areas interact, we provide support that is meaningful, balanced, and relevant to real-life participation.

Collaborative

Collaborative

Lasting change happens when everyone works together. We value close collaboration with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that skills developed in therapy carry over into home, school, and community environments. Open communication and shared problem-solving are central to our approach.

Empowering

Empowring

Our goal is not just to support, but to empower. We focus on building understanding, confidence, and practical skills so that individuals and families feel capable of navigating challenges independently over time. Progress may be gradual, but each step contributes to long-term growth and wellbeing.

Community-Focused

Community Focused

Tiny Tracks is rooted in community. We work closely within multidisciplinary teams, including GPs, allied health professionals, schools, and community centres. By strengthening these connections, we aim to provide accessible, coordinated, and culturally sensitive care that responds to the real needs of the community we serve.

Our Story

Tiny Tracks Occupational Therapy began with a strong passion for supporting children’s development and school readiness. As relationships within the community grew, so did our understanding of the broader needs faced by families and individuals across different life stages.

Listening to the community allowed the practice to evolve - expanding services to include early intervention for infants, maternal mental health and postnatal support, hospital-based care, and adult functional assessments. Today, Tiny Tracks offers a wide range of services while remaining grounded in the same core belief: that meaningful change happens through small, supported steps taken over time.

Our Founder

Tiny Tracks was founded by Isolde (“Izzy”) Vos, a qualified Occupational Therapist with a strong commitment to community-based care.

Izzy qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2018, gaining experience across hospital, outpatient, school, and community settings. In 2023, she completed her Master’s degree, focusing on maternal mental health and infant social-emotional development, further shaping her interest in early intervention and family-centred care. Her work is guided by a deep respect for community needs, accessibility of services, and the belief that therapy should be practical, supportive, and empowering.

Tiny Tracks reflects a commitment to grassroots service delivery - supporting individuals and families where they are, and walking alongside them through their developmental and life journeys.

Understanding Occupational Therapy

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy supports people of all ages to participate more fully in the activities that are meaningful to them - such as play, learning, self-care, work, and social participation.

Occupational therapists focus on understanding what a person wants or needs to do, what may be getting in the way, and how skills, strategies, or environmental changes can support success in everyday life.

What is Early Intervention?

Early intervention focuses on supporting infants and young children who may be at risk of, or showing early signs of, developmental challenges.

By identifying and addressing difficulties early, we can support optimal development, strengthen parent-child relationships, and reduce the impact of challenges over time. Early intervention is collaborative, supportive, and centred around the child’s natural environments.

What is Sensory Integration?

Sensory integration refers to how the brain receives, processes, and responds to information from the senses - including touch, movement, sound, sight, and body awareness. When sensory processing is challenging, it can affect behaviour, attention, emotional regulation, and participation in daily activities.

Occupational therapy helps children and adults better understand and manage sensory input so they can engage more comfortably and confidently in everyday life.
